EUEEP

Organization

The European Union of Exiled and Expelled People is the first European organism of patronage that represents democratically the interests and protects the rights of over than 15 million European citizens deprived of their properties, their civil rights and fundamental freedoms before, during and after the Second World War. A major trade union which claims to represent this group of people at European level, after decades of guilty silence and irresponsible policies, through the establishment of a permanent body for European refugees and expelled people at level of Government of the European Union, namely the European Commission.

Principles and aims

The protection of rights and the protection of the interests of European refugees and expelled people, erroneous victims of nationalism and ethnic cleansing that - not only during and after the Second World War, but also till no more than a decade ago - stained with blood a great part of the Continent, must be considered among the priority that the EU has to face and occupy the top on the agenda of its government, through the establishment of a permanent institutional table in order to detect any kind of repairs for the injustices, the violations and deprivations suffered - many of which are still persistent - in defiance of the principles and the conventions on which is founded even the European Union itself.

This can happen only through a process of accountability of institutions responsible for ensuring to the citizens of the European Union equal rights and equal dignity, according to the laws in the European Union and implemented in its Member States.
